Opening A New Account

To open a new account, you simply need to stop by your local office. Please have your service address and billing address, if different, date you would like service established, and two forms of identification.

Deposits are required on all FPU accounts. However, deposits can be waived on residential accounts with a letter of good credit standing from another utility company or previous good credit standing with our company.

Initial turn on for Temporary Service $ 44.00

Initial turn on for Permanent Service $ 44.00

Return check service charge

  • $25.00 if face value does not exceed $50.00

  • $30.00 if face value exceeds $50.00 but does not exceed $300.00

  • $40.00 or 5% of face value whichever is greater, if the face value exceeds $300.00

Service charge for running Temporary Service $150.00 overhead, $110.00 underground

Active new account $ 19.00

Turn on for an Inactive account $ 19.00

Reconnect fee for non-payment

  • $ 37.00 regular business hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • $60.00 after regular business hours

Collection Charge $11.50

Upgrade $ 27.00

Change from Temporary to Permanent Service $ 44.00

Deposit - two months average billing for residential and commercial service.
