Marc Schneidermann
Director, Corporate Services

As Director, Corporate Services, located at the Corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, Marc is responsible for natural gas, propane and electric divisions' energy logistics, fleet management as well as the Firm's occupational health and safety. He is also responsible for environmental compliance, South Florida land transactions and construction of the new South Florida Division complex. Marc actively coordinates FPU's natural gas and propane rates as well as provides corporate oversight of FPU's propane business.

Marc began his career with Florida Public Utilities in 1989 as a staff engineer. He subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility. Marc was promoted from Manager of Gas Operations to South Florida Director in 1999, and during November 2006, he was appointed as the Director, Corporate Services.

Marc has approximately 25 years of experience in the utility industry and began his career with the Brooklyn Union Gas Company (Keyspan), where he started in 1983 as a management trainee and rapidly advanced through the firm during his tenure. Marc graduated from the prestigious Polytechnic Institute of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and earned a Master of Science degree in Management from Polytechnic University. He had lead various Florida Natural Gas Association committees and in 2006 was elected a Director of the Florida Propane Gas Association. He has also represented a majority of the members of the Associated Gas Distributors of Florida on issues related to the interchangeability of Liquefied Natural Gas with pipeline quality supplies. His work with the Gas Technology Institute and AGDF ultimately culminating with the publication of a technical whitepaper related to LNG and the Florida natural gas market.

Marc is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Florida Engineering Society and resides in West Palm Beach, Florida.
